Willingen offers a wide range of holidays that is quite unique in Germany.

Although close to the mountains, it has an excellent infrastructure and offers plenty of leisure activities to keep everyone entertained. The many highlights include a visitor mine, the Lagunen pool complex, a summer toboggan run, a glass factory, the Ettelsberg cable car and Hochheide tower. The town is known for many top annual events such as the FIS Ski-Jumping World Cup, a mountain bike festival and the Alphorn Exhibition. No matter whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter, there is always something on in Willingen.
